After the wedding Grandma Sue let us setup our superhero headquarters in her midtown apartment so we could link up with Spiderman,
decode the buttons on every elevator,
learn new disguises
to blend in on the street,
scale the City walls
to higher lookouts,
recruit new twins,
and inspect the safety features of the local taxis (no carseats or seatbelts, just handles!).
We did take some time to visit with old friends,
tour the Highline,
roll by the famous Chelsea Hotel,
and explore the Guggenheim
where we were impressed with Frank Lloyd Wright's spiral design, Picasso's black and whites and Kandinsky's crazy color schemes
and made some of our own Calder-esque scultpures.
Whew, Gotham City is a big place to protect. We don't know how Grandma Sue does it day after day!
