The weather is just now catching up, but we have already started in on summer fun this year. An extremely late in the season rain storm threatened to cancel one of our favorite annual events, Bluegrass for the Greenbelt, but a very large tent meant the show could go on! 
They even still had facepainting, 
and of course an opportunity to show off our amazing dancing skillz.

We had so much fun we stayed the whole afternoon, meaning we needed to hitch a ride to the car with daddy.

Since the weather has turned better we took monkey on his first trip to Fairyland,
strung up our hammock in the back yard, 
and have started the process of saying good bye to friends who are moving away to find better schools (in what seems like a sad, annual tradition). Here I am with my school friends performing one more dance before Sasha moves away.
