Fairy Gnome Birthday Party!

The rainy day had us nervous (first rain in four months had to start one hour before my birthday party!) but it turned out that our redwood cover in Roberts Park provided shelter from the elements and the mist added to our woodland fairy ambiance.

To get ready we laid out the outfits for each little fairy and gnome
and little toadstools awaited them as well.
Grandma gnome helped prepare for the onslaught of
 fairies!
And gnomes (okay, the kids were not as enthusiastic about the gnome costumes, but the dads were!)

Our own fairy friend, Miss Luna came and started off putting the final touches on our fairies.

Then we got to search for and find our toadstool kaleidoscopes!
Which turned Amalia, Aurora and me into a triple cyclops.
After that, Miss Luna wowed us all with an amazing magic show

 and awesome balloon swords.
 We loved Miss Luna!!
Finally we were ready for cupcakes and cake, complete with gnome candles!!

 Yum!!
Even Mom got in on the fun!
Happy Birthday Eliza!!
