Because so many of us come to the beach (something like 22 this year), we have to spread out amongst various houses. This year we felt extra special because we got to stay at our original beach cottage on Second Street - on the 50 year anniversary of the Brown family owning the house. It is a great spot to vacation from lounging in the hammock, 
playing in the backyard, 
flying kites in the backyard, 
(who needs wind?) 
playing on the front porch,
playing in the living room, 
playing in the kitchen (here with special guest Alex) 
taking off on bikes from the front yard - well you get the idea. 
And it is the perfect spot for the family portrait - first kids, 
then the whole gang.
