Ballroll 2011

Of course the biggest day of the week is ballroll day where we create a huge mound of sand
and gradually transform it into a multi-track ballroll! This year's owl hunting its prey was a hit with the beach
and was inspired by a real owl that paid a late night visit to our backyard. After 5 hours of shoveling sand hauling water, and rolling balls and balls down the tracks(including a special golden snitch ball commemorating the 50th anniversary of the beach cottage... and just a little ball hoarding)we're all happy to hang with our buds in our ballroll shirts, play in the crashing surf, stick our heads in buckets,
and hug our partners or daddies(or just kiss the nearest camera). It's a pretty fun, if exhausting, day! Go Team Ballroll!
