This morning we drove an hour east 
to pick some beautiful cherries 
with our old neighbors Harper and Daisy Reese. 
It's a good thing they didn't weigh us before and after as some of them were easily within reach, 
while others required accomplices to get.

eat all we could stomach 
(and thankfully not a cherry more) 
and still came home with 25.5 pounds of cherries! Here's our 5 gallon bucket filled to the top! 
Tomorrow Mommy is having some friends over to help can, jam, and brandy them into treats for us.
