We are having a great holiday staycation this year, including a trip up to Pinecrest, just in time for their biggest snowstorm of the year: estimates of up to four feet! 
We knew however we just had to bundle up
and we'd be ready for a super sled-fest. 
Given the weather, we also had plenty of indoor fun like an epic pillow fight with
Polly calling the shots from the side.
After my first day on skis
we had time to test our snowman making skills before heading home today. I even insisted on an authentic carrot nose, 
which had the bonus of providing a great snack once we posed for a picture. 
Daddy also got to ski for the first time in four years, mommy caught some air on a sledding run and Polly managed not to get knocked down by a dog that was four times bigger than her.
