In addition to the usual latkes and applesauce, this year we got to light the glittery menorah that I made at school 
out of a stir stick and ten bolts, 
read new princess books that our cousins Joanna
and Rachel gave us,

model some vintage hand-me-downs from the Datta-Nemanas,
and play with my new Polly (ha!) Pocket toys before bedtime.
