Post-Election Decompression

2014 has been a harried year for us so we've been happily slowing things down a bit since election night.  Top of the list has to be Amanda leaving her job to volunteer on our friend Libby's mayoral transition

 but not to be forgotten was Polly's first soccer season (here with Coaches Tom and Byrne and the rest of the Power Rangers),

 an unexpected crowning for Daddy and his "Cougar's Conveyance" cocktail,

 and a return to our new favorite place: Dillon Beach, CA just a 90 minute drive away.

 We loved

 wave running,

 pillow fighting,

 football-ing,

 digging,

posing,

 drinking and euchring,

and just plain taking in the view

 so much that we put our mark on it 

 

and wished we could call it our own.
