Leg #1 of our Florida trip took us to St. Augustine Beach and a visit with our good friends Molly, Suzanna, Jack, Maisy, Willa and their Pops and Mimi. They have a pool at their house(!) and are just 5 mins from the beach where we made drip castles,
tandem boarded,
tunneled,
and just plain lounged.
The oldest masonry building in the U.S. is just up the road so we made sure to check in with the local Spanish guard,
test the cannons,
and restock our precious supplies with Superman ice cream afterwards in town.
