After nearly three years of planning Daddy's little sailboat race ended with a rousing finale as Oracle Team USA stormed back to win 8 straight races
and defeat the lovable Kiwis in the America's Cup Finals
about the same time our beloved A's got nipped by the Tigers in the AL West playoffs.
Thank goodness Amanda won "most original dish" at the Cows and Cabs Crocker Highlands fundraiser with her steak tartare-Asian pear-meyer lemon-chive creation.
Mmmm.
