Science Day!

Mommy has been in NYC the past three days so we've been trying to cram in enough fun stuff each day so we don't think about how much we miss her. Day #1 was all about 3s: gone for 3 days, leaving 3 of us, Polly is 3, E is 3+3, Daddy is 3&3x3... and yesterday was backwards and upside down day: mostly the reading of books.  Today, Day #3 was science day.  We started with experimentation.  What floats and what sinks, boat building, relative density of tap water to salt water
and then moved on to everything from really big stuff like Pheena the Fin Whale
to nanotechnology (where Eliza enjoyed making the suspended ferrofluids eat each other),
magnification,
duplication,
rotation,
tesselations,
 and architectural creations.
 It made quite an impression.
