In our book club, we take the authenticity of our meals very seriously. So for our Game of Thrones meal Mommy and Eliza weht out early one morning to the local butcher and came back with a very suspicious looking bag.
We kids then got quite a lesson in where our food comes from as we helped rub the pig down with spices. No way to imagine that this meat just came from the grocery store - it came from the farm!
Fortunately we had a Caja China or "magic box" and Papa to help us cook it and, in a few short hours
it looked like this!
And then, with just a little chopping,
it looked like this! Yum!
The lords and ladies of Westeros never had such a fine meal.
