Ski Week in Pinecrest!

 Last weekend we took our new Highlander Hybrid (which we dubbed 'Snowflake' because it's white) up to Chateau Lahey-Teare in Pinecrest for a long weekend during 'ski week.'  It was a weekend full of firsts as I learned how to ice skate,

Polly learned how to ice walk, 

 and we both learned how to SKI!

 Polly got into it

but was a little more interested in walking me like a dog.

 By day two I was taking the lift with Daddy,

 and had learned how to carve up the mountain with 'pizza', 'french fries', and 'big toe to the snow'

 and Polly bonded with Cooper the dog

by throwing snowballs

 and surveying her terrain as a winter fairy.

We also learned a few things from the super-skiing Lahey-Teare family

 on the slopes

and in the house.

 Daddy was especially excited to have two skier girls!
