The weather has turned gloomy again, but a few short weeks ago, we had some glorious weather for February, 
inspiring a trip to Oakland's underutilized waterfront for some climbing 
and even dipping our toes in the fountain. Yes, this was going on while the rest of the country was suffering yet another huge snowstorm. Yes, this is why we live in California.
