Last week we drove up to Sacramento to meet some of our Swan-Levine cousins. The adults watched a boring playoff baseball game (Go Giants!) while us kids did some al fresco dining.
It's been a relatively quiet week since. The weather has suddenly turned to fall, the Giants are are a game away from the World Series, and Polly and I are starting to enjoy the same books (sort of) including "The Giving Tree" by Shel Silverstein.
It's a real nail-biter.

Go GIANTS??? Is it crowded on that bandwagon?
The cute photos almost make up for the sudden Giants fanhood. Almost.
you gotta be out here to appreciate how much the entire Bay Area has rallied around this team. Between jettisoning the egos, promoting the rookies, and acquiring some misfits, they're the new A's.
