Mommy, Polly and I snuck away this weekend for a quick trip to the mountains. When I heard we were going to Pinecrest, I quickly started throwing in hats, gloves and jackets - after all, we've experienced snow, hail, more snow and rain there, and that was just summertime. But it turns out, the answer to good weather is actually to go with the Lahey-Teares, who ensured we would actually get to dip our toes in the water.
We spent time lounging on the lawn (Polly's running away from Cooper the dog here)
and jumping over rocks and tadpoles.
We even got to start my birthday celebration!
Then we all snuggled into hear about some sweet little muskrats.
