We headed off this weekend to Samuel P Taylor State Park in Marin County for a camping extravaganza to celebrate our friend Annie's 29th birthday. We were very helpful to Daddy in setting up the tent. 
Fortunately, the Washingtons have some very musical friends, so we spent the evening being serenaded by classic tunes from the 70's and 80's 
before singing a very enthusiastic happy birthday to Annie. 
It sure was awesome hanging out with all the kids! Everyone had a great time...
with one slight detour into a lesson about why you never leave children in the front seat of cars.
Fortunately, Daddy was able to show off his superpowers and help save the day (you'll have to ask him the details one day, but it did involve jumping into a moving car). 
All in all it was a camping-tastic adventure, and a very successful first camping trip for Polly!
